Set at the top of the Portes du Soleil ski slopes L'Escale is a traditional chalet-style hotel only accessible using the Super-Chatel Gondola lift which closes daily at 17:00. Guests can enjoy a panoramic mountain view from the terrace or the room and it is possible to ski down the mountain to Châtel. Some of the rooms at L'Escale feature a private balcony with a mountain view. Each one is decorated in contemporary style and also has a private bathroom with free toiletries. Guests can enjoy hiking mountain biking tennis paragliding and other activities during the summer. Guests have direct access to Les Portes du Soleil Ski Resort.
