This Victorian property is a former laird’s house with an Iron Age Broch structure in the grounds. This beautiful house has cosy bedrooms a grand entrance and an impressive staircase. Each room has traditional design and offers views over the gardens. There is a desk and a private bathroom. You can enjoy walks around the grounds and the surrounding woodland and there are several lakes and hills close by. There is easy access to the stunning Caithness Highlands and coastline which are ideal for hiking. Thurso and the north coast are a 35-minute drive from the property. From here you can catch a ferry to the Orkney Islands. The famous Yarrows Archaeological trail is located 2 miles away.
