Located within the Karkloof Nature Reserve Rockwood Lodges features self-catering accommodation nestled in and around indigenous African forest. The various units are located between 25 metres and 5 km from one another offering a tranquil escape. Each of the units at Rockwood Lodges boast a well-equipped kitchen which can be stocked up on advance request. A private chef can also be arranged. Toiletries are provided in the bathrooms for your comfort. Each of the solar-powered units has a patio with an outdoor dining area. There is a children's playground near the farmhouse and cottage. The area is popular for mountain biking hiking fishing and swimming in natural pools. Howick is 24 km from Rockwood Lodges while Pietermaritzburg is 50 km away. A helicopter transfer from Durban can be arranged.
